A Little Prep Goes a Long Way

Kylie's Travel Checklist & Guidelines

Heading to the snow, the races, the coast, a winery, or a scenic day out?

Here are our simple tips that will help your group enjoy a smooth, comfortable, and memorable experience.

Traveling is fun, but the safety bits are serious. Your comfort and well-being always come first.

Pack Smart, Travel Happy

Bring the Essentials

  • A water bottle
  • Sunscreen (yes, even in winter)
  • A hat or beanie
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • A warm layer: The coastal winds can surprise you…

For Snow Trips

  • Gloves, waterproof jacket & pants
  • Dry socks (trust us on this one!)
  • Snacks for the road
  • A small backpack for your gear

Safety Note: We can’t allow loose items rolling around the bus. Please keep bags zipped and stored safely.

Food, Drinks & On-Board Comfort

What You Can Bring

  • Snacks
  • Non-alcoholic drinks
  • Small cooler bags

Important Safety Rules

  • No glass bottles or glass containers: They’re unsafe on a moving vehicle.
  • Hot drinks must have a secure lid. Spills can cause burns and injuries.
  • No open alcohol on the bus: Save the celebrations for the venue.

Travelling With Pets

Dogs: Dogs may be permitted on certain charters, but prior consultation is required. This helps us ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers.
Service Animals: All certified service animals are always welcome.

Be Weather-Wise

Victoria loves to show off all four seasons… sometimes in one hour.

Our tip: Check the forecast the night before, but be ready for anything. We’ll always keep you updated on conditions and adjust plans if needed.
Safety Note: If weather becomes unsafe (storms, high winds, snow, or road closures), we may modify the itinerary to keep everyone safe.

Stay Comfortable on the Bus

  • Keep aisles clear
  • Stay seated while we’re moving
  • Let Kylie know if you need a comfort stop
  • Bring any medication you may need
  • Avoid strong perfumes (some passengers are sensitive)

Safety Note: Seatbelts must be worn at all times. We take this seriously — It’s the law, and it keeps everyone safe.

Group Travel Etiquette

  • Be on time, or nominate a “Chief Timekeeper.”
  • Bring your best playlist (Kylie loves a sing-along)
  • Pack your sense of humour
  • Take photos. Lots of them!
  • Celebrate the little moments
  • Enjoy the journey as much as the destination

Safety Note: Please follow Kylie’s instructions at all times — especially around roads, car parks, snow areas, and busy event sites.

For Snow Trips

Stay Warm, Stay Safe

  • Wear layers — you can always take one off
  • Keep gloves dry
  • Don’t wander off alone
  • Stick to designated snow play areas
  • Watch for ice, it’s sneaky

Safety Note: Alpine conditions can change quickly. If visibility drops or roads become unsafe, we may adjust timing or routes.

For Race Days

Make It a Great Day Out

  • Bring a hat & sunscreen
  • Wear comfy shoes (you’ll walk more than you think)
  • Keep your phone charged
  • Set a meeting point for your group

Safety Note: Large crowds mean staying aware of your surroundings. Stick together and check in with your group regularly.

For Coastal & Scenic Tours

Enjoy the Outdoors

  • Bring a warm, waterproof jacket (Cool Breezes even on hot days)
  • Watch your footing on rocks and paths
  • Stay behind safety rails
  • Keep an eye on waves and tides

Safety Note: We avoid unsafe lookouts or tracks during high winds or rough conditions.
